2018 Autumn Leaf Presenter - Dan R. Scheidell (Eugene, OR) - "Chasing the Coos Bay Rail Link"

The Coos Bay Rail Link runs on the old Southern Pacific Coos Bay branch that starts in Eugene Oregon and ends in Coquille Oregon. Most of operations are ran during the dark of night along the majority of the line. Dan did however have the chance at some very exclusive footage of what is usually seen at night, which is part of what you will witness. This is a look at operations on the CBR from an entirely aerial perspective in a short video feature.

2018 Autumn Leaf Presenter - Frank Keller (Anchorage, AK) - "North to Alaska - Trains to the Last Frontier"

This show will chronicle 10 years living in Anchorage, Alaska and Frank's attempts to photograph the last full service railroad in North America. Covering the Alaska Railroad in its entirety from Seward north to Fairbanks in all the seasons of Alaska, which basically amounts to two, Summer & Winter, In reality there are 4 season but Spring and Fall are so short they are barely a blip on the calendar. Come join Frank as we explore the Alaska Railroad and the beauty which they traverse on an almost daily basis.

16th Annual Autumn Leaf Slideshow - Saturday, Oct 27th! 4pm-10pm

16th Annual Autumn Leaf Railroad Slideshow Saturday, October 27, 2018, 4pm to 10pm King Street Cove at the historic temple 200 S. King St. in Centralia At the corner of King Street and Centralia College Blvd We are excited to be in the King St. Cove this year as the Fox Theater is still under renovation. The 1930 built structure has been newly remodeled to seat 160 people with professional sound and video systems built in. There is a vendor area available in the downstairs/main entrance portion of the venue . Vendor tables may be reserved for $25 per 6ft table. If interested, please contact us. We will have a print raffle as well as the Best of 3. The Fox Theater staff will be on hand to assist our event. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase on site. Those arriving in Centralia early, the Milwaukee Road Historical Society will be hosting an event with programs on Saturday at the Centralia Depot from 10am til 3pm.
