Just About Here!!

Here we are the week of the 12th Annual Autumn Leaf Railroad Slideshow - looks like this week may be a rainy one here in the Pacific Northwest but maybe a glimmer of hope that Friday and Saturday may turn out ok!! Reminder that the historic Fox Theater at 123 S. Tower Ave. in Centralia is the site of the show - the doors will open at 3pm with the show beginning at 4 sharp. There will be a planned short dinner break and snacks and soft drinks, beer and wine will be available for purchase at the theater. A reminder that this is a donation event - your donation will cover the cost of the theater rental for our event so don't forget to give some money so we can keep bringing this back year after year. If you haven't RSVP's yet, then please do so ASAP to get your seat!!

Matt Adams - "Oz-some Australian Adventure" - (from Beaverton, OR)

"Oz-some Australian Adventure" Fulfilling a dream that started 15 years ago, I took a trip during February and March 2014 to Australia. During this month long adventure, I covered the interstate main and branchline network from North-central New South Wales, Victoria and the eastern half of South Australia. EMD (Clyde), ALCO (Goodwin) and GE (Goninan) locomotives built between 1951 and 2012 were all seen side by side, hauling freight across the land best known for Kangaroos, Koala Bears and AC/DC.
